As usual departure from Casablanca, the most cosmopolitan and Western-feeling city in Morocco for those who want visit The King Hassan II Mosque and Casa's old Medina all the way to the red city Marrakech, the truly city of entertainment in Morocco. In the center of Marrakech is a square, Djemaa el Fna, which is the operating point for entertainers. Marrakech, with the outstanding peaks of the Atlas expanding behind the city, has very warm humid summers and shimmering white snowy winters. Marrakechis are well-known for their warmth and sociability, their humor and honesty. The next destination is Taroudant, is ideally located between the sea and the mountain. You will find its ramparts of fortification, its medina, its Kasbah, its local crafts (tannery, souk, etc.) and its impregnable view on the Atlas and the anti-Atlas. Very popular for its mountain hunt. An exclusive destination reserved for researchers of authenticity and calm, it is not uncommon to find there many personalities who come to seek a little serenity. Contact with the population is very warm and it is extremely rare to be bothered by it.
And for surfersTaghazout is surf central, a town just north of Agadir with amazing points and breaks that roll in from the Atlantic all year round. Once simply a small fishing village near Agadir, Taghazout has, over recent years, become a tourist destination in its own right. This newfound interest is all down to one thing – Taghazout’s growing reputation as Morocco’s top surf spot. It’s easy to get around Taghazout; the size of the village means everywhere is reachable on foot. Slightly further afield are the spectacular Imouzzer Cascades and Agadir is just twelve miles to the south. Our last stop will be at Essaouira which is known as Morocco’s windy city. A combination of spectacular beaches, great sea and the almost constant tropical trade winds has changed this city from a hardworking port into one of the world’s greatest sites for windsurfing, kiteboarding and other exhilarating watersports. The city has a dual heritage and this can be seen in the mighty walls that surround this old Moroccan trade center. After an amazing ride, back to Casablanca for drop off.
